Lemon Pepper Chicken

Ingredients

  

  • 1  1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, halved
  • 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp. lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • 2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  •  2 cloves garlic, pressed or minced


Instructions: 

 

  1. Combine flour, lemon pepper, salt, and zest of 1 lemon. Toss chicken breasts in flour mixture until fully coated. 
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken  and cook until about 5 minutes on each side.
  3. Add chicken broth, butter, garlic, and lemon slices and cook until chicken is cooked through and sauce has reduced slightly, about 3 minutes.
  4. Remove chicken to plates and let rest.
  5. Spoon pan sauce over chicken and serve.

Using lemon pepper seasoning is a great way to flavor your food and can also be used to saute vegetables,  fish or mix with marinades and dressing.
